2003 Northeast Green Building Award.
Elton+Hampton Architects and the Hickory Consortium were awarded an Honorable Mention for the Family Center project in the Places of Work category for sustainable design in an urban reuse project by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.

2001 Northeast Green Building Award.
The Hickory Consortium was awarded First Prize in the Residential category by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association for Erie-Ellington Homes for replicable, environmentally sustainable design and construction.

2000 NAHB Energy Value Housing Award.
The Hickory Consortium was awarded a 2000 Silver Energy Value Housing Award by the National Association of Home Builders for energy innovations at the Erie-Ellington Homes project.

2000 BSA Excellence in Environmental Design Award.
The Committee on the Environment of the Boston Society of Architects selected the Erie-Ellington Homes project as an exemplary project demonstrating Excellence in Environmental Design in 2000.

2000 Leadership in Energy Efficiency Award.
The Massachusetts Alliance for Energy awarded Hickory Consortium members Bruce Hampton and Mark Kelley and the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation a 2000 award for Leadership in Energy Efficiency at the Erie-Ellington Homes project.

1999 NAHB Energy Value Housing Award.
The Hickory Consortium was awarded a 1999 Silver Energy Value Housing Award for energy innovations at the Cambridge Chousing project.

1999 Sustainable Business Award.
The Hickory Consortium was selected for the gold Inherit the Earth Sustainable Business Medal by Connecticut College for their contributions to building a sustainable environment.

1998 U.S. EPA Energy Star Home Designation.
The Cambridge Cohousing project was awarded an Energy Star home designation by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for energy-efficient building standards and indoor air quality of its 41 townhouses and apartments.

1998 AIA Earth Day Top Ten Award.
The Hickory Consortium's Cambridge Cohousing project was selected as an Earth Day Top Ten project by the Environmental Committee of the American Institute of Architects for its systems-based design for environmental health and energy conservation.

1998 Green Seal Designation.
Hickory Consortium member Pella Corporation was awarded a Green Seal designation for the performance of its InsuSheiled, low-E windows in cold and moderate climates.

The Hickory Elm Street Prototype EcoDynamic Homes duplex project was awarded the Energy Star Home designation by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for energy-efficient building standards and indoor air quality.
